Last week we hosted our 7th Annual Duncan Aviation Make-A-Wish Car Show at our facility in Lincoln, Nebraska! The car show featured nearly 150 cars, trucks, and motorcycles and participants got the opportunity to take a photo in front of the company owned Pilatus PC-12. All of the money raised will be donated to Make-A-Wish Nebraska to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We were lucky to have our Make-A-Wish Kid, Sawyer, and his family, join us for the day! Sawyer was the star of the show and got the opportunity to choose his favorite car, a blue and white 1968 Rally Sport Camaro, and sit in the Malmo Volunteer Fire Department and Lincoln Fire & Rescue fire trucks and Lincoln Police Department cruisers. Sawyer LOVES dinosaurs, and the most touching moment of the show was when we informed Sawyer and his family that his wish was coming true, and he would be going to Universal Studies to see Jurassic Park World, ride the Jurassic Park River Adventure, and the Jurassic World VelociCoaster! He was even presented with a custom dinosaur themed fire helmet and a gift basket from Raising Cane's. The parts and materials were provided by our Engine Parts Reclamation and Engine RGA Teams & Components/PRS Department. The fabrication, finish work and assembly of trophies were completed by our Components Paint Team, Duncan Manufacturing Solutions (DMS) and Alternate Parts Solutions (APS) Teams. Management of the project was conducted by APS and the Car Show committee. A special thank you goes out to all of the sponsors who helped make the show a success. August 22nd is recognized as Duncan Aviation's Founders Day. It is the birthday of Donald Duncan, who founded Duncan Aviation, and it is also the birthday of Donald's grandson, Chairman Todd Duncan. Donald Duncan was an Iowa farmer and automobile salesman. He learned to fly in the 1950s and as he gained aircraft experience and developed deep friendships with other aviators, he discovered an opportunity. He heard business operators asking to utilize aircraft as business tools, so in 1956 he bought into a Beechcraft distributorship in Omaha that would become Duncan Aviation. In 1963, a second facility was opened in Lincoln and Donald became friends with Bill Lear. This relationship turned into a Learjet Distributorship for Duncan. Donald passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 18, 1981. It was a devastating blow for the company and especially the Duncan family. Duncan Aviation has grown into the largest family-owned business aviation MRO in the world. We remember our founder, Donald Duncan, and are thankful to Robert and Todd for their leadership all these years. #DuncanAviation

We gave KiMi Aviation's Falcon 900EX a stunning custom paint job at our Provo, Utah facility that showcases their commitment to sustainability. With the goal of embracing cleaner flying, we installed winglets on the aircraft for increased efficiency and painted them green to highlight this eco-friendly feature. #DuncanAviation
