Due to the excessive heat and high humidity we have been experiencing, our sponsor CareOne has postponed the movie night fundraiser until fall. Recently Durand had the honor of promoting nine students at our Graduation Ceremony. Friends, Family, Support Staff and members of the community joined us as we celebrated all of our students; milestones and accomplishments of this year. In addition to the wonderful remarks of our esteemed Principal Jennifer Amoroso, we were thrilled to receive a letter from the White House and President Biden. During her speech, Principal Jen reminded everyone to be all you can be, embrace the growth from trying and making mistakes and know that each student displayed high levels of resiliency and determination during his or her time at Durand. A small reception was held after so that families could interact with one another, discuss the future and reminisce about making it through Covid, and all of the changes, growth and success each student had over the last few year. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2024!
