On this Intern Appreciation Day, we want to acknowledge and celebrate our summer interns (James Hammond, Christina Gonzalez, McKenzie Metzner, Tyler G., & Madeleine M.) This year's project involved creating an internal exercise on a cyber incident, drafting an after-action review, and presenting their findings to our corporate leadership team. Thank you to Emma Possenriede and Sumita Langhnoja, PHR for guiding our interns through this project. At Dynamis, we not only design, execute, and evaluate exercises for our customers, but we prioritize doing so for ourselves. Creating internal exercises, like the Cynamis 2024 exercise we conducted in early July, ensures that we are prepared to handle a variety of situations. Cynamis 2024 is the latest component of Dynamis’ internal cybersecurity training. The exercise allowed personnel to display their knowledge of company procedures during a cyber incident while helping them develop an even further understanding of these protocols. Events like this allow Dynamites to experience exercises like our customers do, helping us improve our exercise expertise! We are so glad this project gave our interns the insight into how our team develops exercises for clients like Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency but also highlighted the crucial importance of preparedness.
