We're on a mission to Make Good Famous – so that people can find, follow and celebrate social impact leaders – and get inspired to drive change themselves. Join us. We are committed to bringing visibility to the work of changemakers, creating a fanbase for good, and inspiring action on an international scale. We believe that people driving positive change should be as recognizable and influential as any celebrity; and that the communities and the issues they champion to be seen, understood, and valued. On our page, you'll get inspired by some of the most incredible social impact organizations and leaders in the world - each of whom have been recognized through one of our three main initiatives: The Elevate Prize: Every year, through our signature program, we champion 10+ social entrepreneurs for their impact and leadership. These leaders receive $300,000+ in unrestricted funding and resources like leadership development services, mentorship, and capacity-building opportunities to help increase recognition and grow impact. The Elevate Prize GET LOUD Award: Follow us on Instagram, where we award $25,000 in unrestricted funding every month to a grassroots organization nominated by our community. The Elevate Prize GET LOUD award is designed to fuel grassroots movements and organizers on the frontlines committed to collective action and building power among communities. The Elevate Prize Catalyst Award: This award recognizes prominent individuals who are using their influence to inspire action (winners include Malala, Trevor Noah, Matt Damon, Michael J Fox, Amal and George Clooney). Elevate Prize Catalyst Award recipients receive $250,000 in unrestricted funding to dedicate to a cause of their choosing. These partnerships create a bridge to traditional fan bases and tap into the world of entertainment to inspire more people and make more impact. Join us on our mission to Make Good Famous!

THIS. 👇 As the International Paralympic Committee (#Paralympics) kick-off today and shine a light on incredible athletes with physical disabilities, sharing Eddie Ndopu powerful words from #MakeGoodFamous Summit: Ableism harms ALL of us, disabled *and* non-disabled people. While we all tune in over the next few weeks, let's commit to coming together to end ableism, and create a culture driven by inclusivity and accessibility!

  • We’re honored to have CNN Heroes as part of our Elevate family—and to have them be such an integral part of our 2024 #MakeGoodFamous Summit. At Summit, we also announced a concept we’ve spent years developing called the Whole Leader. Through Whole Leader, we’re committed to changing the game — helping leaders in the impact space prioritize their own wellbeing and avoid burnout to, in turn, enhance their ability to help others and their communities. As we say: “self care IS community care.” This article and video beautifully captures what the Whole Leader is all about. • Brandon Leake wants to Make Good Famous. The spoken-word poet, activist, America's Got Talent winner, and educator graced the stage at our #MakeGoodFamous Summit ahead of Dwyane Wade. Thank you, Brandon, for penning such a powerful original poem for the occasion. Stories have the power to change the world, and we’re so glad to have artists like Brandon telling them.

  • Winner spotlight on Piyush Tewari, who, along with his organization SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF), is tackling one of the most high-stakes issues of our time: road safety. Piyush founded SaveLife Foundation in 2008, being propelled to action after losing a close family member to a road death - one that could have been prevented had bystanders not been too afraid of repercussions to lend a helping hand. SafeLife Foundation has since gotten a Good Samaritan Law passed in India that empowers bystanders to help those in need. They are collecting data, training first responders, and fighting for interventions to make roads safer in India and beyond. Learn more about Piyush’s incredible work that is on track to save 1 Million lives by 2030: https://lnkd.in/eVbtn7v
