We recently partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation to provide school supplies to children from local schools ahead of the back-to-school season. 🎒✏️ KINF helps create equitable learning spaces through the distribution of supplies and resources, investing in teachers and students in underserved schools. 🤝📚 Our employees assembled 500 backpacks at several branches in South Bend, Indianapolis, Elkhart, Whiting, and Plymouth. Our new Everwise brand showcases a distinctive approach to photography, depicting authentic, everyday individuals embodying confidence in their daily lives. 📸 Many of the photos you see in our online and print advertising come directly from our own employees. Today, we’re excited to share the remarkable story behind the shot from our colleague, Sharri Tafelski, PMP,CFE. ✨ These photographs feature Sharri’s son, Adam, with his two daughters and his sister-in-law, Rachel, performing in a Tough Mudder competition. During these events, participants attempt rigorous 10-to-12-mile-long obstacle courses. 🏃♂️ Here’s what Sharri shared about the photos: “I submitted these pictures because to me it’s a perfect example of people challenging themselves to push harder and achieve their goals. Adam has participated in multiple competitions, which as a mom, always makes me nervous. The obstacles are incredibly difficult, both mentally and physically. And yet Adam continues to challenge himself and encourage others to do the same. He never gives up. It’s incredible to watch him train for an event and even more so to watch him in action. 💪 That dedication inspired Rachel to complete her first event, and their support and encouragement of each other is inspiring. Plus, Rachel is a fantastic female role model, a shining example of confidence for her nieces, teaching them to never be afraid to try new things, to work hard, and to give it your all. The kids were the best cheerleaders through the entire competition—cheering on Adam and Rachel and witnessing true strength and commitment. 🏅🚀 These pictures represent confidence because they took on a challenge most people would never even attempt. As they completed each obstacle, the feeling of accomplishment must have been life changing.
