Did you know that we hosted Olympians at FamilyForward? Our campers were going for gold with an Olympic-themed week at camp🥇 In this action-packed week, we: 🐾 Created mascots to cheer us on! 🎨 Decorated graham cracker flags inspired by the flag displays at opening ceremony. 🥇 Made medals to honor our unique strengths. 😺 Met Holly, the first therapy cat to visit FamilyForward. 🏳️🌈 Designed flags to represent ourselves with personal symbols. 🌈 Enjoyed our classic FamilyForward camp tradition of tie-dying! Watch out for Summer 2028, our Olympians are coming!

“That’s a misnomer that we need to throw out: this idea that resilience is recovering. And the truth is, when we’re thinking of recovering, it’s not getting back to something the exact same way that we did it before. Recovering is reclaiming a sense of autonomy and value from engagement” - Dr. Ashley Wagner, Director of Occupational Therapy We couldn’t agree more! Hear more insights like this on Season 2 of Out Front with FamilyForward. Now streaming on https://lnkd.in/gr8yxjnH and your favorite podcast platform. 🎧💙
