We are happy to announce that Dr. Shana Shaw has joined Far Harbor LLC as Senior Director of Consulting and Partnerships. Shana was most recently an Evaluation Officer for the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation’s Performance Insights team. She has an extensive background in researching and evaluating policies and programs for K-12 education, postsecondary education, foundations, and government organizations. She also has a strong background in consulting and client services. Shana earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduate school, she served as a data fellow with the Fort Worth Independent School District through the distinguished Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Lucky for us, Shana has worked with both Eric Booth and Ginger Gossman before joining our team. Like several on our team, she is also a musician; she plays the drums. And she loves to travel near and far, as her toddler and schedule allow. Welcome to Far Harbor, Shana Shaw, PhD!
