Last week, I had the honor of traveling to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to meet with Admiral Rachel Levine. We discussed the important work FarmboxRx is doing within healthcare, particularly our innovative approach to scaling food as medicine nationwide within Medicare and Medicaid. I also brought my daughter, Harlow along so she could see firsthand why I'm on the road so often and how my work is helping to shape a better healthcare system for everyone. A big thank you to David Goldstein M.S., OTR for making the connection—plus, it was great to finally meet in real life!

One of seven people in the state of Tennessee face hunger, and 40 percent of families with children report being food insecure. FarmboxRx’s newly announced partnership with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) will expand access to nutritious foods to Tennesseans, during a time where many residents continue to struggle with the affordability and accessibility - leaving them at higher risk for developing long-term health issues.
