If you've been following along- you know that with the help of Rochester muralist Sarah Rutherford, our school is creating a 10th anniversary mural in the city of Rochester. There have been lots of circumstances, experiences, and coincidences around the ideation, planning, and now creation of this mural that have been deeply moving and emotional- and given us a bit of a feeling of kismet. This morning's check in on the mural brought two more unexpected moments. One- the beautiful metal butterfly on the light pole next to our mural space. (Our mural features many butterflies and this one seems to be leaping off the wall). Two- The view of the Five Star Bank building in the background. Five Star has been our largest corporate supporter and champion. It just feels right.
