If the coding sequence (CDS) of a gene-of-interest (GOI) carries a risk for causing genome truncations, it can lead to significant manufacturing challenges. Here, we explored how AI/ML can optimize the CDS to reduce truncation events and improve manufacturing. By leveraging FORMsightAI, our proprietary AI/ML technology, we predicted the truncation risk of two vector designs and achieved a reduction in truncations by 14-30%, which can have significant impact in manufacturing.
