The spotlight is on Halannys Ayala Jimenez, Architectural Designer II here at Forum. Halannys says she has always been interested in art, and architecture is art in itself. As she continued with her education in the field of architecture, she became passionate about not only creating beautiful designs, but also creating quality spaces that improve people’s health and wellness. Realizing the impact that spaces have on people was truly eye-opening for Halannys and has allowed her to appreciate the work we do even more. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Architecture, her passion for the field of architecture has only continued to grow. Halannys says, “Being in this field is more about creating designs for the betterment of others than it is about ourselves; as long as there is passion and desire, architecture is a great field to improve people’s lives in a different way.” When Halannys isn’t at Forum, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She has also recently gotten into taking care of plants and loves to play volleyball. Halannys just celebrated her two-year anniversary at Forum. We look forward to many more years of her hard work and dedication. #architecture #interiordesign #employeeowner #employeespotlight #Forum

Tezja Panzik, NCIDQ has been a loyal employee-owner at Forum for the past 6 years. She has over 15 years of experience managing and leading design teams in the student housing, hospitality, and multi-family market sectors. Tezja was recently promoted to Studio Director of the Interior Design department. In this role, she oversees the department’s successful coordination and collaboration with architecture while managing a team of 10. She credits this promotion as one of her greatest accomplishments: “My most significant accomplishment is stepping into the Interior Design Studio Director role. To be approached with the opportunity was an honor. Having an amazing group of interior designers helps a lot too!” Tezja received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University. After gaining valuable experience through the years, she says one of the most important lessons she has learned is that design cannot be personal. It is ultimately about the client, their vision, and the individuals experiencing the space created while fostering a work environment that the designers are excited to be a part of. Tezja and her team recently won a GRAND Aurora Award for the interior design of Legacy 202, a student housing project near the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. We are fortunate to have Tezja’s leadership and passion here to mentor and guide our design staff. Tezja is a registered interior designer in the state of Florida. #interordesign #multifamily #apartments #employeeowner #leader #forumfamily
