In this race, the fastest car doesn’t always win. 🏎 Here’s a look back at Europe’s biggest student engineering competition, Formula Student—an event we were proud to sponsor once again this year! Students from around the world don’t just race single-seat formula-style cars. They design, build, and test them too. In the end, the competition rewards the team with the best overall package: construction, performance, financial planning, and even sales strategy. But our teams are here to support them! 💪 In the Czech Republic and Germany, the event gathered thousands of students (over 3.1K in Germany). It was a fantastic opportunity for us to meet future talents and showcase our innovations at our booth. The materials used in car interiors play a crucial role in decarbonizing the automotive industry 🚗 Through MATERI'ACT mainly, we are acting with low and ultra-low CO2 materials: Compounds based on recycled plastic and hemp fibers Coating made from pineapple leaves fibers 🍍 as an alternative to animal leather Or fossil-free steel seat structure components And these are just a few examples! #ThrowbackThursday Did you know that in the 1960s, we used to make this iconic extendable caravan? ⏪🚐 It was crafted in our Brières-les-Scellés plant, at a time when families in France started to embrace the joy of travel and leisure. Also known as a mobile home, this caravan was designed to be compact enough to be towed by small cars. But when you opened the front and back, it doubled or tripled in size! The canopy could be folded back to bask in the sun ☀️, or closed to create a bedroom with beds. And today? Teams at Brières-les-Scellés have found one of the last remaining models and are currently renovating it!

Our demos are globetrotting! 🌍 Starting in Las Vegas in January, they’ve now made their way to China. Every stop is a fantastic chance for our teams to showcase our cutting-edge technologies for a safe, sustainable, customized, and affordable mobility to our customers. What’s the common thread? They’re all designed for scope 3. We follow the principles of using less, using better, and using longer, designing repairable and replaceable products while developing bio-based and recycled materials. Stay tuned!

Today, millions will be tuning in to watch the opening ceremony in Paris! 🔥Here at FORVIA, we’re celebrating our world-class athletes too. Recently, teams around the globe participated in various challenges, and we proudly supported them! Here’s a selection: 🚴 The Meet Me Halfway cycling challenge made a triumphant return! FORVIA Faurecia teams in Poland and their FORVIA HELLA colleagues in met in Berlin. What better way to build strong connections? ⌚️ 20 hours, 10 minutes, and 14 seconds. That’s all it took for the Nagykata plant teams in Hungary to conquer the 211-kilometer Ultrabalaton race. We can hardly believe it 🤯 🏃 Meanwhile, MATERI'ACT teams ran the Run for the Planet race, blending sport and awareness. This event highlights ecological, social, and ethical challenges while raising funds for committed organizations. 🎾 Earlier this year in China, teams competed in a table tennis and badminton tournament.
