ECAP, the flagship product, is a revolutionary evidence-based support tool that helps agencies make the best possible placement decisions for children in foster care. ECAP is available to public and private agencies and can integrate with other foster care case management systems to eliminate the need for double entry by workers. Researchers at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare teamed up with the creators of ECAP to study the system, and they found a significant reduction in the number of moves and a decreased average time to permanency among foster children who were placed using ECAP. This leads to better outcomes for children and reduced costs for agencies.
