On August 6, Vanity Fair Lingerie was awarded the Fan Favorite Award for its top-selling Illumination® String Bikini at The Underfashion Club's FEMMY Awards in New York City. Ann Usinger, Sr. Director of Marketing, and additional team members were on-hand at the event, with Ann accepting the award on the brand’s behalf. Since the Illumination® String Bikini panty was introduced 25 years ago, it has been a fan favorite for millions of women. Congratulations to our Vanity Fair Lingerie team on this recognition!

This summer, Fruit of the Loom built on its partnership with Undies for Everyone to support underserved children in our local community. During the United Way of Southern Kentucky Day of Caring in July, volunteers from our Corporate HQ office spent their day rolling and filling packages of children’s underwear that we donated. Then, on National Underwear Day last week, members of our Fruit of the Loom marketing team delivered 7,000 pairs(!) to the local Family Resource Youth Services Centers that serve students in need within the Warren County Public School System. Last week, over 140 employees at our headquarters in Bowling Green, KY volunteered for United Way of Southern Kentucky's Day of Caring to serve others in need within our community. While we proudly support United Way and its programs throughout the year, this Day of Caring gives us the unique opportunity to get out in the community and help make an impact directly. From building houses with Habitat for Humanity International to packing underwear with Undies for Everyone, our employees completed 14 projects around the area! In honor of Memorial Day last week, our Proud to Serve Resource Group at Fruit of the Loom, Inc.'s Corporate Office in Bowling Green, KY, participated in placing flags at the resting place of veterans’ graves at J.C. Kirby & Son Bowling Green Gardens Cemetery to honor and remember the fallen military heroes. An Employee Resource Group at Fruit of the Loom, Inc., our employee-led Proud to Serve Resource Group supports, engages and promotes military veterans, guard members and reservists throughout the Company. The group also offers opportunities to network with fellow military employees and provides support to our employees who have family members serving in active duty. 

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an opportunity to take a moment to recognize the importance of attending to mental health, which is just as important as physical health. At Fruit of the Loom, Inc., we’re proud to provide our employees with a range of #MentalHealth resources, including our Employee Assistance Program with free 24/7 counseling, virtual mental and behavioral health consultations through our benefits plan, and hosted virtual and in-person events with learning opportunities to tackle #StressManagement and #MentalHealthatWork.
