  • Recently, the team at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida received a wonderful note recognizing the team for their work. Yvonne Lockstead, GCE site project manager noted, “I have an exceptional team and am so proud of them for the quality work, dedication to our customer, and to their fellow team members.” A special shout out to GCE team members David and Tommy noted in the message below: Good morning Ms. Yvonne, Commander Bennett and I just wanted to take this opportunity again to personally thank you and your staff for your devotion to ensuring our clinic was in prestige condition for our Clinic CARE Rounds inspection we had July 9-11, 2024.  Because of the outstanding hard work and dedication from your team, we received a “Bravo Zulu” during the inspection, stating “very clean and well-run clinic.”  During the debrief, the inspectors personally told Commander Bennett and I that this is the best they have ever seen our clinic.  I know Mr. Tommy and Mr. David devoted a lot of additional hours coming in on weekends to ensure this mission was completed.  Because of their commitment to mission success, we were able to receive the highest accolades we have ever received concerning the cleanliness of our clinic.  We are very grateful for the outstanding working relationship we have developed with you and your staff and look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.  Thank you again for everything. Bravo Zulu!  Very Respectfully, HMCS Rebecca L. • Fort Carson News from Colorado: In our first 18 months at Fort Carson, we have seen continued success on our Colorado Military Health System contract. Our team members field 40,000+ calls a month supporting patient access services for military families in the Pike’s Peak region. Through our initiative to continuously improve service to our callers, we have implemented monthly quality awards for team members who illustrate perfect call scores for an entire month. Team members are monitored a minimum of two times per week, scoring is based on call indices including appointment accuracy, key patient instructions, and general customer service criteria. Congratulations to our winners Lynn Gordon, Mika Schlafli, Kelly Ryan, Cordelia ‘Dee’ Fitcheard-Allen, and Lynn Gord on their exceptional service to our customer and patients/families. Your dedication is truly appreciated by your GCE family.
