Cynthia brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare billing and coding to her new role. Over the past 11 years, she has been a driving force in maximizing reimbursement, reducing denials, and improving overall revenue cycle performance at Gracelight Community Health. Cynthia’s strategic initiatives and effective cost management have consistently optimized our billing and financial strategies, leading to significant revenue growth and improved profit margins. Her accomplishments have earned Gracelight recognition as a premier performer, consistently ranking in the top ten percent for FY23-24. She has also been recognized by the EPIC/OCHIN Revenue Cycle Scorecard for outstanding revenue cycle performance and frequently provides counseling to other OCHIN members as requested by the OCHIN team. On a personal note, Cynthia is an avid sports fan, proudly supporting the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. Her happy place is Carmel By the Sea, known for its beautiful white-sand beach. As a grandmother, Cynthia loves her three grandkids and cherishes every moment spent with them.
