We enjoy a quick trip down memory lane to learn about Graniterock team members from the company's earliest days. This is a fun one about Norman Goodwin, who worked at the Logan Quarry in the 1930s and 40s with his father Roy Goodwin. It's not every day you meet a miner who doubles as a deputy sheriff and assistant fire chief!

Construction workers look tough on the outside, but you never know how someone might be struggling on the inside. Don’t underestimate the value of a smile and genuine “How are you?” Graniterock team members take this to heart not only during Construction Suicide Prevention Week but in our daily work. If you or someone you know is feeling distressed and need to talk to a counselor, call 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
