This September, our employee spotlight is on Dean Holzhausen from Hastings! "Dean has been a key player for the Hastings Parts Team for over 30 years. He is dedicated to supporting the customers and is always willing to help his teammates succeed. Dean makes every interaction fun and enjoyable for customers." When asked about his favorite part of the job, Dean shares that it is the community of customers and his fellow employees that he likes best. When he isn't helping customers get the parts they need, he can be seen traveling the country on his Harley and has traveled to every corner of the lower 48 and in between!

We think this photo sums up how we feel about our equipment, too! Congrats to Elsie Howard, who was the winner of our toy package from the recent Plymouth Downtown Tractor Show!

"Lori keeps the wheels on the bus going around and around. She (and the others on the team) are especially crucial to our business success!" It's time for our August Employee Spotlight and this month we are featuring Lori Folkertsma from our Holland Ag location! Lori has been with GreenMark for almost 14 years and while she has held multiple positions during her time here, she currently serves as our Wholegoods Specialist. Her favorite part of the job is the variety of the work. "I love to complete complicated deals and problem solve with sales." Outside of work, she spends a lot of time with her grandchildren and enjoys ice fishing, reading, and spending time at her family's property in the woods. We appreciate all that you do, Lori!

Getting to showcase equipment to the next generation is always a great time, but sharing it with family just makes it all the better! Recently, Qort from our Winamac team was able to bring an 8R 370, a GreenMark semi, and his service truck to talk with his daughter's class during their Transportation Week. The kids had a blast looking at the equipment and talking with our team!

"Kevin constantly goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of customers. He is a leader of our shop and takes pride in his work. There is never too complicated of a task that he will not face head on and get fixed." Kevin Wandless is an ag service technician from our Monticello location and our July employee spotlight! He has been a tech for 26 years and has spent 18 with GreenMark! His favorite part of the job is working with the customer. "Without the customers, there is no GreenMark." When he's not on the road or in the shop, Kevin and his wife stay busy with their three boys. He enjoys camping, visiting national parks, and helping out on his family farm. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our customers, Kevin!

This June, we feature Zach Phillips for our employee spotlight! Zach is part of our Union sales team. He previously served as a turf salesman before transitioning to ag sales in 2023. “He welcomed the change and meets all challenges of this new role optimistically and with matched energy.” Zach was born and raised on a small row crop farm a couple of miles from the store and had a background with an irrigation dealership, so coming to a Deere dealership was a good fit for him. His favorite part of his job is the people - both the customers and his team members. Zach keeps busy when he’s not at GreenMark! He and his wife have three children - all who play multiple sports! He also enjoys going up north and fly fishing. Thank you for being a consistent team player and for your willingness to help out, Zach!
