Field demonstrations of #PFAS treatment technologies are a core component of SERDP & ESTCP efforts on improving management of PFAS in the environment. One such #ESTCP demonstration is being led by Dr. Zhong (John) Xiong at Haley & Aldrich. Dr. Xiong’s project aims to demonstrate a UV/sulfite-based destructive technology called EradiFluor™ for PFAS in concentrated waste streams, which may be generated from groundwater treatment processes, foam delivery system cleaning, or investigation-derived waste (#IDW). H&A’s Linda Navin Murray and her family have channeled almost unimaginable grief into meaningful action after the loss of their daughter in a boating accident in Aruba. They established the Cassidy Murray Foundation to help families who are thrust into grief following a tragic loss. Last month, Massachusetts State Senator Walter F. Timilty presented a resolution from the Massachusetts State House honoring the foundation’s work to increase access to #mentalhealth resources including trauma and grief therapy.
