Each summer Hamilton Parker celebrates its employees at a large get-together where we recognize new additions to the team, promotions, and highlights from the year so far. This year being our 90th anniversary, we selected a special location, Brothers Bar & Grill, to be close to where it all started. Back in 1934, Adam's grandparents, Alvin and Gertrude Lewin, purchased Hamilton Parker Fuel & Supply for $500. The building was located on the corner of Kilbourne Avenue and Vine Street in downtown Columbus, Ohio, close to where Brothers is today! At the time, the company sold primarily coal and other ancillary items. Decades later, Adam’s parents, Milton and Elaine ran the business, expanding the HP offerings.
