We are happy to announce that New Kent County is now an official member locality of the Hampton Roads Alliance! To celebrate, members of the Alliance attended the Festival of Racing at Colonial Downs in New Kent County, the largest live thoroughbred horse racing event of the year in Virginia. Also, Governor Glenn Youngkin announced that in 2025 the Virginia Derby at Colonial Downs will become a qualifying race for the Kentucky Derby!
