We are honored and excited to announce that St. John Encampment Commons has won the prestigious Urban Land Institute Austin Impact Award for Best Public Place. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and vision behind this project that transformed a former mall parking lot into 2.4-acre urban park that serves as a gateway to the ACC Highland Campus. St. John Encampment Commons was designed to honor the site’s rich history, which dates back to the late 19th century when the land was used by the St. John Baptist Association, an African American community, for annual gatherings and educational purposes. The award-winning design epitomizes the adaptive reuse of urban spaces, demonstrating how public realms can be reimagined to serve modern needs while preserving historical significance. We recently completed our Grand Central West Industrial Park project in Katy, TX! This industrial warehouse spans 838,450 square feet and includes approximately 40,000 SF of office space and a breakroom buildout. We have a lot to look forward to at Eastwind Logistics Center! Take a peek at our construction progress: Building #1 Tilt panels are currently being erected, with 20% of wall panels already vertical and temporary bracing in place. All tilt panels will be erected by early September. Building #2 All six slab pours have been successfully completed. Tilt panel pours have begun, with 60% of the panels poured. Panel erection is set to start in early September, following the completion of panel erection at Building #1. Building #3 Underslab work is in progress with footings and foundations also being installed. The initial slab pour is slated for completion in late August, with the entire slab poured by mid-September. Eastwind Logistic’s strategic location offers unparalleled access to several markets, making it a pivotal hub for logistics and trade. We recently finished our Shell Headquarters project in Washington, DC! This project was a phased interior renovation of 35,000 SF of office space across floors 7 and 9, consisting of architectural finishes and mechanical and electrical rework. Marking a major milestone for decarbonization, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Grid Storage Launchpad (GSL) is accelerating the development of next-gen grid energy storage technologies. Energy storage is critical to meet the nation’s decarbonization goals and make our grid more resilient, reliable, and secure. As we face a growing need for scalable strategies, PNNL’s newly opened Grid Storage Launchpad aims to accelerate development of technologies that are safer, more cost effective, and durable. In partnership with Harvey | Harvey-Cleary Builders and Kirksey Architecture, we provided a suite of multidisciplinary services for the new facility, working closely with PNNL stakeholders to enable safe operations of its various battery testing spaces. Our team developed “template” services infrastructure for the general chemistry labs and connected the GSL to PNNL’s existing Heat Transfer Building to recapture and reuse waste heat from an adjacent computing facility. Last Thursday, we broke ground on our Faust Distributing Warehouse Expansion in Houston! This project includes a 126,500 SF warehouse expansion adjacent to the existing warehouse, two offices with single-user restrooms, and modifications to several areas with a new two-story office addition built inside the existing facility. #HarveyCleary Faust Distributing Co Barry-Wehmiller Design Group

The first building at the new Carpenters Logistics site is now past the halfway point. Postel Erection Group, LLC is utilizing its panelizing system with joist/deck modularized on the ground and then flying into place with crane.
