TrueCare is excited to announce that Cheryl Petersen Pine, who joined us as Interim CFO in January, has officially accepted the role of Chief Financial Officer. We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate #ChildrensHealthDay! Our Flourish & Nourish Health Fair & Breast Milk Drive was a huge success 🎉 We were thrilled to offer key services like low-to-no-cost vaccinations, dental screenings/fluoride, stroller giveaways, free backpacks to prepare children for the new school year, information about our medical resources, and collected breast milk for babies in need. This event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the UC Milk Bank, San Diego Blood Bank, City of Oceanside, Home Depot, Palomar Health, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, California State University San Marcos, Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, Vista Hill, Words Alive! We're celebrating National Health Center Week with fun and impactful events for patients, staff, and community members! In honor of Monday being Healthcare for People Experiencing Homelessness Day, our team visited The Brother Benno Foundation offering free podiatry and dental screenings, and promoted valuable healthcare resources! Participants walked away feeling heard about their health and received free haircuts thanks to Ivy League Barber Academy.
