Testimonials like these must be shared to let our heroes know they are not alone. Help and hope are available for those struggling in silence. HBOT4Heroes is utilizing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), one of the few treatments with evidence-based research showing real healing, to save and transform the lives of veterans, service members, and first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (#PTSD), traumatic brain injury (#TBI), chronic pain, and other conditions that HBOT can effectively treat. The evidence is clear, and you can find it at hbot4heroes.org or TreatNow.org. There is help and hope out there, so don’t give up.

Physical Health and Networking On Monday I had to drive to the VA medical center In #Fayetteville. Need to get fitted for a #CPAP and sleep study. #Veterans your medical care is free through the VA. You have earned that resource. File your VA claim. Then the next morning I woke up to attend annual the NC DEFTECH Defense Technology Summit sponsored by US Senators Thom Tills and Ted Bud. The NC DEFTECH staff chaired Bob Burton hosted with Fayetteville Technical Community College . Great host and speaker line up. If you are in government contracting or your company and department should attend a defense/federal conference at least once or twice a year. Congratulations you have active SAM.gov account with an UIEI and cage code. But your customer the federal government has never heard of you. Attend a regional or national conference and that’s how you can get on your client’s radar. As micro services contracting firm Strategic Engagement Consulting (SEC) must go to the customer shake hands and pass out capability statements and business cards. Remember I said, I am old school so this where I can thrive. The challenge is disciplining myself to follow up with all of the new connections. I got a chance to meet Solutions Afoot , Josh Schuminsky. Nike Roach, LMBT, M.S. and I met at this conference last year. SEC and Solutions Afoot have been thicker than thieves over thr last year in the #GovCon space. Since I wear multiple hats as Non profit spokesperson it was nice to make the connection with HBOT4Heroes and Kristy Andrews. I had to laugh about the connection to Blake Richardson, MHA and Help Our Heroes. When you focus on the right things you can find your tribe. Make sure your networking plan includes in person and virtual events. Nice seeing you Chris Rabassi, CFCM and MG (Ret) Rodney O. Anderson.

When addressing post-traumatic stress disorder (#PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (#TBI), no single resource, therapy, or treatment can effectively heal everyone in the same way. Understanding this, the Help Our Heroes (HOH) team is dedicated to raising awareness about additional resources supported by evidence-based research and making them more accessible through effective legislative efforts. One of the key resources HOH is working on with collaborative partners to make more accessible is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (#HBOT). Visit https://lnkd.in/ggYDZSPv to learn how HBOT can heal neurological disorders like TBI and PTSD. A donation to Help Our Heroes will help ensure we can continue working hard to make resources like HBOT more accessible within your state and nationwide.
