Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday's Omaha Central Public Library Beam Signing at HDR! During last night's event, Heritage Omaha's President Rachel Jacobson announced that we surpassed the project's fundraising goal of $158 million. This incredible milestone could not have been achieved without the support of donors (including 282 gifts from foundations, corporations, and individuals), neighborhood steering groups, nonprofit leaders, and community members who shared feedback to form the vision for the new library. We'd like to thank the following project partners: City of Omaha, the Omaha Public Library, the Omaha Public Library Foundation and Board, Do Space, HDR, Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture, Kiewit, Rainwood Development Partners LLC, Margaret Sullivan Studio, Advancing with Purpose, and Trisha Meuret.
