🌟 Team Member Spotlight: Casey Campbell! 🌟 At Qurate Retail Group we believe that our success is driven by the amazing individuals who bring their skills, dedication and passion to our team. Today we shine our spotlight on Casey Campbell, the Vice President of Finance. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲? Almost 1 year! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥? My role leads the Finance team for HSN. We’re a small and mighty team that spans Merchandise Financial Planning, Business Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐒𝐍? I joined HSN to gain insight into a whole new world of retail! The aspect of television, hosts and celebrity is not like anything I have ever worked with in the past. 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲? I would say it is probably cooking. It’s a way that I decompress for an hour. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞? I don’t think it's my choice, but my sister has always wanted me to go on The Amazing Race with her! 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦? I like watching the Buckeyes win (in Ohio we are all nuts), and I am partial to the Cleveland Guardians. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭? I have an eclectic playlist, and some of it depends on where I am … Decompressing and making dinner? It would be chill piano bar music. Lifting heavy stuff at the gym? It's Green Day, Metallica, The Stones and The Smashing Pumpkins. In the car? Taylor, Miley, and AJR! 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞? My porch would be a terrace overlooking the Paris skyline. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞? “Never mistake motion for action,” Ernest Hemingway 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝟓/𝟏𝟎/𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨? Honestly, at any one of those points, I probably would be pushing myself with the advice to, “take the chance – don’t wait.” 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐒𝐍? I really appreciate the people so much. The willingness of every team member to dig in and solve whatever we happen to be facing is so amazing. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 #𝟏 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩? In my own experience, I would say curiosity is crucial … just continuing to ask questions and learn the business of the business. 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝? If I had to pick just one, it would have to be pizza, both deep dish Sicilian and thin cracker-style crusts!

Today we shine our spotlight on Makeda Escayg, Sales Strategy Manager. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲? I just celebrated my 11th work anniversary in July!   𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥? I bring product presentations to life and amplify HSN’s brand value across diverse media platforms through cross-functional teamwork, leadership, streamlined processes, creative skills, and vendor relationships within Sales Strategy. I’ve had other roles in my journey. For example, in 2016, I joined the Television Production Supervisor Team, overseeing 40+ technicians and earning the HSN Vision Award in 2017. I also became HSN's first Black female leader in the Television Production team. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐒𝐍? Quick answer? It’s a cool place to work! Most people are pretty impressed when I say I work at a national TV network where we get to provide solutions, educate and entertain all day.  HSN is also a cool place because my colleagues are supportive, every day is different, and the work my team and I do has a direct impact on the business. Not to mention our customer: We get her and she gets us. 😊 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐒𝐍? There are too many favs! However, I wear Lamik Beauty Revelation Brow almost daily. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 #𝟏 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩? Be a versatile Subject Matter Expert. Know the role and excel at it. However, one also has to be able to adapt to various functions and/or activities. Our company is ever-changing so the skills one possesses must be transferable. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭? Raising my 5-year-old son. Outside of that, being a first-generation college graduate on the Bachelor’s and Master’s level. 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝? I really loved when my grandmother would make her stew chicken, callaloo, and baked mac n cheese for me when I came to visit her. 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝟓/𝟏𝟎/𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨? Not advice per se but I would have leaned on this scripture a lot more and a lot sooner. “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Loving, generous, and personable -- according to my beau. 😊

In June, HSN was part of a home dedication with Habitat for Humanity Pinellas! HSN's partnership with this chapter dates back to 2011, sponsoring 14 homes and contributing over $1 million dollars to Habitat. During the event, HSN President Stacy Bowe spoke of the company's dedication to empowering women and helping families in times of need, especially in the communities in which we operate, through our philanthropic arm, 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝. The Fraim family, consisting of single mom, Christine, and her three children, Elijah, Selena, and Alayna, is the recipient of the 14th sponsored home. Christine worked incredibly hard to earn her home, completing 36 homebuyer education classes and over 350 sweat equity hours.
