Our 8-week summer entrepreneurship program has come to a close! Throughout the program, participants received training in various aspects of launching a business and also worked on soft skills like communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. By the end of our program, our 2024 participants had developed their own business plans for a company they're passionate about. They each presented their plan in a Shark Tank style event to a panel of business owners and CHOOSE 180 staff! We know the impact that racist systems can have on young people. At CHOOSE 180 we work to transform systems of injustice and support the young people who are too often impacted by those systems. To do this, we partner with and educate community leaders, prosecuting attorneys, judges, school districts, etc. to transform the harms that systems perpetuate into healing opportunities.
