“Several #IEEE members, myself included, were inspired to become involved in technology by science fiction movies, TV shows, and books. This interest drove me to understand the physical sciences and learn how to innovate using natural laws and logic. What’s your favorite science fiction story that inspired your interest in technology and how has it influenced your work?” - Tom Coughlin, 2024 IEEE President & CEO
