The Golden Records launched aboard the NASA Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft in 1977, aim to do just that. Over the course of a year, a specialized NASA committee curated a selection of natural sounds, greetings in multiple languages and musical compositions to be included in two identical phonographic records. This time capsule is meant to bring the essence of humanity into unprecedented depths of the cosmos as the two spacecraft continue their journeys beyond interstellar space.

"@" is an ubiquitous symbol of global connectivity, helping us send emails, tag friends on social media and more. But, did you know that it predates the Renaissance? As centuries passed, the symbol made its way onto typewriters and computer keyboards and entered the digital era during the early days of email.
