We have the opportunity at Planet Fitness to work in partnership with Aces to work with adults that are on the Spectrum or Development Disorder. Earlier this week, we received an award for our participation in the program and going strong for eight years. In this video is Brian and one of the most happiest guys I’ve ever met and he enjoys coming to work with the team and speaking to every member that he has the chance to speak with. Amazing performances by Structür, our talented musicians! Dreams in motion studio of Dance who choreographed a routine just for our event! DJ Legacy for keeping the good vibes going through the entire event! Boys and girls club - for all they do in support of promoting Kindness and Preventing Bullying for youth, so honored to continue our contributions through our “Judgement Free Generation” initiative! Last week, our latest Planet Fitness location, Louisiana Plaza in Albuquerque, celebrated its grand opening in style! With a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by representatives from the City of Albuquerque, Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys & Girls Club of Central New Mexico, we kicked off in true community spirit. We're proud to have made a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Central New Mexico, reinforcing our commitment to local youth and fitness. A big thank you to the local vendors who brought the event to life with booths, samples, and giveaways. This is just the beginning of our journey at Louisiana Plaza, and we're excited to see how we can continue to contribute to the health and happiness of our members, our community, and making health and fitness accessible to all! #IgniteFitnessHoldings #GrandOpening #PlanetFitness

Veteran’s Day provides us all an opportunity to honor and appreciate the sacrifices and selflessness of the men and women who serve and served in the American armed forces. It is a day for each of us to reflect and show our gratitude to those who have given of themselves to defend our nation’s independence, and through them our freedom as Americans. We want to especially thank our team members at IGNITE that are active and veteran service members. We asked some of our military team members to share what inspires them. Luis Serrano from our corporate team said, “"Valor is stability, not of legs and arms, but of courage and the soul." This quote from Michel de Montaigne reflects on the deep courage and inner strength that veterans embody.”  Jesse Thomas, an Assistant Regional Manager in Connecticut shared his favorite military quote by Jocko Willink that he applies each day at IGNITE, "There can be no leadership where there is no team”. In honor of Veterans Day, we encourage you to take a moment – today, tomorrow or next week – to thank a service member for his or her dedicated service to our community, state, and nation. To Luis, Jesse and all of our IGNITE Veteran team members, you have made remarkable contributions to our nation, and we are proud that you are part of the IGNITE family, thank you!  

We offically opened #127 and #128 for IGNITE, and #19 and #20 in Canada the last 2 weeks! Beautiful new clubs in Sunridge, Calgary AB and Vernon 27th St, BC. A huge thank you to Karlee Arden and my team, and to our cross functional departments to make these locations happen. Wishing all of our Canadian IGNITE Fitness team members a very Happy Thanksgiving! Hoping your day has been filled with gratitude, warmth, friends, family and of course, delicious food! 

Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the tragic 9/11 terrorist attacks; a day that forever changed the world and a day many of us will never forget. Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who lost their lives on that day. Let us never forget the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, and may it remind all of us to strive each day to be the best version of ourselves. This painful experience shall always remind us of the importance of compassion, unity, and hope in the face of adversity.   #september11 #neverforget
