The first half of the 2024 season was fun… Lots of travel, by bus, car, and airplane; polos and suits and ties; early wake-ups and late bed landings. From Spring Training on, there’s a daily reminder that, having the group of colleagues I’m lucky to have, it makes it easier dealing with the daily grinder a baseball season is. We continued broadcasting the Tigers games in Spanish, now up to 45 games in 2024, and looking forward for more! I had a chance to photobomb a photo with Dan Dickerson and Jason Benetti on Opening Day! And I had a cameo on Monica Bradburn’s TikTok, can you believe it? I´m grateful of the Detroit Tigers for giving me the chance to participate, sometimes as a panelist, other times as a panelist/host in different events they organized, such as: the Jackie Robinson Day panel, the Affiliates Day panel, and the Spanish Education Program panel. Sharing stage with colleagues I respect and admire was priceless. Plus, engaging with our Spanish-speaking fans through our videos of La Antesala, and through audio on Tigres VIP. Was the target on many Bally Sports Detroit live shots, and finally sat down with “the guy” for our podcast. ... all right second half, what do you got?
