As part of Intel’s commitment to ensuring the industry is post quantum cryptography (PQC)-ready, we are pleased to announce that researchers at Intel Labs co-authored one of the recently published PQC encryption standards by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Specifically, Intel Labs’ researchers helped develop the FIPS 205 standard for digital signatures, which employs the SPHINCS+ algorithm. An explicit N-Dimensional method that uses Gaussians to compactly represent complex high-dimensional functions as a tool for interactive scenarios was recently introduced at SIGGRAPH 2024. The technique utilizes multi-dimensional Gaussians to parameterize appearances based on viewing directions and render global illumination without tracing rays. LiSA, the first semantic-aware AI framework for highly accurate 3D visual localization, has been recognized as a highlight paper at CVPR 2024.
