🎓 Salonta Inspires the Next Generation of Engineers 🏭 Earlier this month, Inteva Salonta had the pleasure of welcoming a group of aspiring engineers to our plant as part of the “Academia Project.” During their visit, our dedicated engineers and colleagues from various departments provided an in-depth tour of the factory and shared insights into our production processes. These engineering students were highly engaged and eager to learn about the daily responsibilities in the field. This experience offered them valuable firsthand knowledge that will be beneficial as they embark on their careers. 🌟 Team Building and Triumphs in Bangalore! 🌟 In June, our India Technical Center (ITC) in Bangalore hosted an exciting team building and award ceremony for employees. Five teams participated in a cardboard cart-making challenge, competing to construct sturdy carts within an hour, each capable of carrying a teammate across the finish line. While some carts crossed the finish line with ease, others faced a few more challenges. Amidst the chaos, the event truly showcased the power of teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and collaboration. 🛠️ We also took the time to honor exemplary performers with a special recognition ceremony. 🌟 Community Spotlight: Troy SCM Team Volunteering with Central Detroit Christian (CDC) 🌟 Troy’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) team rolled up their sleeves and dedicated their time to support CENTRAL DETROIT CHRISTIAN CDC, a local nonprofit committed to empowering individuals and creating positive opportunities within the community. 🏠 The team tackled various tasks, including: -Clearing out a warehouse -Painting the floors -Restocking for shopping day, where local residents can purchase donated items for $5 per container -Weeding the CDC farm, which supplies fresh vegetables to the CDC-run grocery store A huge thank you to Mark Fishwick for championing this #TroyCares initiative and to all our amazing volunteers who made this day a success! Our volunteers dedicated their time and energy to pressure wash and clean up a local elementary school. The Inteva Summer Internship Program has started strong at our Troy HQ! With almost 30 days under their belts, our cross-functional group of interns have already gained valuable insight into our business. Outside of their daily responsibilities, interns have also had to opportunity to tour one of our manufacturing facilities, see first-hand how our lab operates, and participate in a Q&A session with our President and CEO, Gerard Roose.
