We had a great time last week in Orlando as a first-time exhibitor at iCast, the worlds largest fishing trade show. It was the perfect stage to launch our latest innovation, the Flywater Skiff-Kayak hybrid. The reception to the brand and new product was amazing among retailers and the media. Tommy Bahama Announces Licensing Agreement with ISLE Iconic island lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama has signed a licensing agreement with ISLE (part of the Solo Brands portfolio) for a unique collection of hybrid SUP-kayak boards, along with limited edition waterproof bags. ISLE is known for its ingenuity in hybrid watercraft design, allowing users to customize their paddle preference between SUP and kayak with a proprietary ISLE-Link™ connect system. “For over 30 years, Tommy Bahama has invited everyone to enjoy the island-inspired lifestyle where and how they live,” said Gina Wilcox, Vice President Licensing, Tommy Bahama. “Having fun in the sun is a huge part of that lifestyle. These hybrid SUP-Kayak boards and waterproof bags bring the ultimate in outdoor fun. We’re excited to partner with ISLE to further define our lifestyle brand and offer our guests a fresh chance to embrace our brand and embark on exciting water adventures.” The Tommy Bahama collection includes two innovative models. The 11’6” limited edition Tommy Bahama Switch 3 Hybrid SUP-Kayak retails for $995 and will be available in two colorways. It’s an inflatable, ultra-light, super stable, and incredibly versatile hybrid board featuring ISLE’s patent-pending ‘ISLE-Link connect system’ that allows paddlers to seamlessly convert from SUP to solo or tandem kayak on or off the water. The Switch 3’s PowerFuse welded rail technology eliminates the potential for air leakage, while increasing the durability, rigidity, and lifespan of the board. A full-coverage soft and grippy traction pad opens the entire deck for yoga, pets, kids and lounging.   Additionally, ISLE will offer a 15’ limited edition Tommy Bahama Megalodon 3, ISLE’s largest inflatable, multi-person paddle board that retails for $1195; also upgraded with PowerFuse welded rail technology, the ISLE-Link connect system, and a full-length deck pack. Megalodon 3 is also electric-assist ready with ISLE’s exclusive motor mount system (for up to a 3HP motor) and a custom steering system. To complement the boards, ISLE has designed a collection of limited edition Tommy Bahama waterproof bags. The Tommy Bahama collection launches July 2024, and will be available on the ISLE and Tommy Bahama websites, as well as select outdoor retailers in the U.S.

Our Pro Series inflatables have received a lot of attention since launching last year, and we're exited that Outside Magazine named the Pioneer Pro best bay cruiser! Last year Popular Science named the Pioneer Pro a top innovation of the year in large part for our InfinityFiber inflatable composite technology. This high performance composite material allows us to achieve up to 500% greater rigidity in our inflatables compared to typical construction methods. This next generation of inflatables are dubbed "inflatable hardboards" thanks to their next-level rigidity, approaching that of a traditional epoxy board. Commercially, ISLE is the only brand to feature this technology, and we're in good company with NASA, the US Navy and DARPA who are testing it in multiple classified projects. ISLE 2024 is the year of reaching new heights, literally. We are excited to announce our collaboration with Andrew Hughes on his current adventure today in the Atacama of Chile where he plans to break another world record! Andrew Hughes will be taking our award winning Switch SUP Hybrid Kayak out and paddling the highest body of water. If you don’t know Andrew, his records include - The Seven Summits, Antarctica Trifecta, 6 of 7 Volcanic Seven Summits, and many more. Over the 2019-2020 season, he became the fastest American man and third person ever to complete the Antarctica Trifecta, reaching the summits of Mount Vinson (the highest mountain) and Mount Sidley (the highest volcano) in Antarctica.
