#AboutLastNight 🎉 That moment you commit to work towards your Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education while still in high school! 🤯 The JPS Jackson Middle College hosted a Signing Day celebration for seven selected scholars who have taken on the task of completing both high school and college coursework. The only program of its kind in Mississippi, Jackson Public Schools, in partnership with Jackson State University and the Mississippi Department of Education, is addressing the teacher shortage by allowing scholars to earn a BS in Mathematics... in high school! After obtaining their degree, the scholars will serve a minimum of three years as mathematics teachers in Jackson Public Schools. 👏 👏 #InnovativeTeaching&Learning #WeAreJPS
