Leaving an impact beyond the pitch ❤️ AD Franch has been nominated as the KC Current Ambassador for the 2024 Lauren Holiday Impact Award, presented by Nationwide, for her continuous work within our community. This season she's been working closely with local nonprofit, WeCode KC. They provide youth the opportunity to learn technology concepts, and leadership skills; creating a pipeline of future-ready professionals through project-based learning and innovative programs. Making her country proud 🇲🇼 Temwa Chawinga had the honor of meeting Her Excellency Ambassador Justice Chombo while in D.C. to discuss Freshwater Project International and its initiatives in providing clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene facilities for Malawi youth in schools and community centers 👏

This Black Business Month, we are proud to celebrate Ruby Jean’s Juicery 🧡💚 Black Business Month recognizes the importance of Black-owned businesses and pays homage to them and their legacies. Ruby Jean's Juicery is a staple in the Kansas City Community offering healthy beverages and snacks in an all-inclusive environment. Since the inaugural match at CPKC Stadium, Ruby Jean's has been enjoyed by thousands of fans in our stadium! Here's to making more history together! #KCBABY

Last week, we hosted The Girl’s Cup at The University of Kansas Health System Training Center in collaboration with The Women's Cup 🫶 Thank you to Atletico de Madrid Femenino, INAC KOBE, and Mamelodi Sundowns for participating in this event to support the next generation in #KCBABY!

During the month of June, KC Current players teamed up with United Way of Greater Kansas City to support SAVE, Inc.'s Pride Haven. With the support of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City and KC Current fans, $21,000 was raised to support LGBTQIA+ youth in the Kansas City community! #KCBABY

Last week we hosted our second Teal Talks of the season as part of our #SidelinetheStigma campaign in partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City!
