Back-to-school is in full swing here in Western Washington, and with your help more local kids can start the school year off right! KIRO 7 Cares is partnering with The Salvation Army to raise funds to send local kids shopping to get the clothes, shoes, coat and backpack they need to head back to class. KIRO 7 News in the Morning anchors, Deedee Sun, and Linzi Sheldon, along with KIRO 7 News weekend anchor, Eric Thomas, got to volunteer at a recent shopping event for local kids.
