For the month of February, we wanted to not only do our part to raise awareness about American Heart Month, but we wanted to partner with a foundation that continues to make a difference educating Americans about congenital heart defects, or CHDs, a diagnosis that affects ~1% of newborns each year. Since its inception, The Children's Heart Foundation has funded nearly $18 million worth of research, which has led to major breakthroughs to improve survival rates and quality of life for those living with CHDs. By donating to foundations such as these, we are able to invest in additional research and treatment options for the 2-3 million adults and children that live with a congenital heart defect. It is thanks to these efforts that 69% of babies born with a critical CHD are expected to survive to at least 18 years of age. In 2023, we hosted 26 Kyte Baby meet ups 😱 yes, 26! Meet ups are themed around #product #launches and are such a fun way for our community to connect! 📣 FYI 📣 • We had 24 different themes in 3 different countries + 20 states. • We hosted at 2 museums, 2 aquariums, 3 farms, 4 botanical gardens, 7 zoos and 8 parks. • We had 91 different cookie designs given as treats to meet up attendees. • We connected with over 2,000 members of the #KyteBaby community, and we are SO thankful for the opportunity to have spent time with so many of you. We can't wait to meet some new (and familiar) faces this upcoming year! ❤️
