Calling all VT nonprofits! Our application portal is now ✅ OPEN ✅ for 2025 Sunshine Fund recipients. All Vermont-based, tax-exempt nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply now through August 31. A "Little Sip" of our Sunshine Fund goes a long way! 24 nonprofit Vermont organizations will be carefully selected (two recipients "on tap" per month) and will receive 100% of our Taproom gratuity. The Sunshine Fund is the heart of our Social Impact Program designed to help our thriving local communities. When guests visit the Taproom and decide to add any gratuity to their bill, that gratuity is collected and the total amount is donated to the current Sunshine Fund recipient. Vermont is experiencing state wide flooding on it’s one year anniversary. First and foremost, we are wishing everyone the best and hope you are all staying safe today. Our collaborative beer project, Vermont Strong, was designed to raise funds for the recovery of the homes and businesses affected in the 2023 July flooding and we were delighted to have fourteen other breweries join us in brewing their own versions of Vermont Strong Pale Ale. Together, we have donated $46,007 to the Vermont Community Foundation! Thank you to all that have contributed to the support of these beers and helped our brave little state on this long road to recovery. Additionally, our Social Impact Program will also be donating $5,000 to NOFA-VT’s Farmer Resilience Grant Program as part of ongoing flood recovery efforts.
