“By allowing teams to shift more responsibilities to intelligent systems, advancements in AI have the potential to improve the accuracy of accessibility testing, ultimately paving the way for a more inclusive digital future.” Check out the latest piece in Chief Accessibility Officer Jonathan Avila, CPWA’s informative series on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital accessibility to learn how #AI will transform accessibility testing processes—allowing organizations to more quickly identify and fix issues impacting users. #A11y
I’ll be the first to argue that comprehensive digital accessibility testing is a balance between automation and human expertise. Today’s automated testing tools aren't sophisticated enough to identify every barrier that could impact users. But artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing this balance. By improving the accuracy of automated testing, AI will allow many more people—including non-experts—to identify and fix accessibility issues. And this has massive positive implications for the accessibility of the digital world. In the third installment of my series on AI and accessibility, I explain how, exactly, AI has the potential to democratize accessibility testing—and what this means for organizations and users. Let me know your thoughts. #AI #Accessibility
