Today marks the conclusion of the 7th summer of Berkshire Interns! Earlier this week, we came together to honor the interns and their hard work with an evening of reflection and camaraderie. Over the past 10 weeks, the interns have been deeply engaged in “mission central” projects across a diverse range of roles, including engineering, design, and accounting. They’ve also dedicated time to enhancing their career readiness by participating in virtual workshops focused on networking and transferable skills. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this summer a success. It was truly another great season of growth and achievement! Berkshire Interns kicked off its seventh consecutive summer with intern orientation on Monday! This year's cohort includes 15 interns working at 11 different local companies, with returning employers such as Berkshire County Arc, MountainOne, and IdleSmart, and new employers joining the program, including MOLARI Employment and HealthCare Services, Smith, Watson & Company, LLP, and Waubeeka Golf Links. Special thanks to Kristy Edmunds, Hugh Daley, and Mayor Jennifer Macksey for sharing insights on their career journeys with the interns. It was a great day discussion full of learning and advice!
