Here's how most practices get lead tracking totally wrong: The following is a set of real (but anonymized) interactions from a new patient lead. 1. A new patient clicked a Google Ad and filled out a website form. 2. The practice attempted to call them. 3. The patient called them back. 4. The patient ended up booking through an online scheduling platform after visiting the practice's social media profile. With unified lead reporting, we can see that one new lead converted into an appointment, and that "Google Ads" was the initial lead source. However, most practices are NOT de-duplicating or merging these interactions. If you are simply tracking new lead interactions, your reporting might show: 1. Two "Google Ads" leads, converting at 0%. 2. One social media lead, converting at 100%. Multi-channel interactions like this are incredibly common!
