900 days ago, the S&P 500 was the same level as it is today; 1,400 days ago, the Russell 2000 was the same level as it is today. The S&P 500 & Russell 2000 are down -10% and -20% from summer ’23 highs. While the market has been flat for the past 3+ years, Market Neutral Investors have continued to outperform all Indices. #DontHateThePlatforms

Congratulations to this incredible group of women on being named Hedge Fund Journal’s Leading Women in Hedge Funds. Without naming names, there are a couple of Long Ridge Partners placements on this list! Improving diversity in finance is one of our core missions, and we continue to focus on placing women in the hedge fund industry. We hope our female placements of today continue to make this list in the future!  

This has been the dominant trend in the Hedge Fund industry for 5+ years and it really picked up steam towards the end of 2021. The outperformance of the multi-manager funds vs single manager was never as sharply delineated as in 2022. That is when the major news outlets started paying attention.  This trend has been keeping us busy at Long Ridge.
