✨ Expanding my possibilities! ✨ Obtained my certification as a Disdvantaged Business Enterprise in the State of Washington on July 19, 2024. I learned that getting certified with Los Angeles Metro as a DBE pre-qualified me to a quick vetting process with the Washington State Office of Minority & Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE). It only took me about two weeks to get my DBE application approved. Now working on the rest of the certification alphabet soup! (WBE, MBE, etc.) This means that I can be included in the government project pursuits in the State of Washington as a DBE subcontractor. 🚨CLIENT UPDATE🚨 This summer Metro & NSA have been doing BIG things together! 1. NSA managed Metro's State of the Agency Event, where incoming Metro Board Chair & LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn emphasized the agencies' future goals for growth, safety, and community ties. At the event our team handled attendee registration, food & beverage, and more. 2. NSA recently co-led regional community meetings for Metro's I-605 Corridor Improvement Project, where we shared information about the project's goals and gathered community input. The community's feedback will help shape the project. 3. NSA has made significant progress building participation in Metro's Mobility Wallet pilot program. The Mobility Wallet is an all-in-one mobility account payment solution currently offered to low-income LA County residents. Participants can receive up to $1800 to spend on a variety of shared transportation services, and demand to participate in the program has skyrocketed!
