Program supports include: Earn and Learn Opportunities: Participants engage in paid pre-apprenticeships at licensed childcare facilities where they receive practical experience, intentional coaching, and mentorship. Professional Development: Experienced LAEP staff supplement college coursework with infant and toddler education and workforce development training. Wrap-Around Support: Connecting participants to services like childcare vouchers, transportation stipends, and a laptop loan program to support successful program completion. We celebrated our first ever Ready2Teach cohort as nearly 30 participants completed the 12-month program and took a big step toward becoming an early childhood educator!
