We are proud to announce the FY24 recipients of our Museums for America grant program! This program, our largest museum grant program, will provide 115 projects with a total of $23,361,915. Recipients will serve the public through exhibitions, educational/interpretive programs, digital learning resources, professional development, community debate and dialogue, audience-focused studies, and/or collections management, curation, care, and conservation. Marbles is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of the Marbles Playway! Over the past 16 years, Marbles has focused on creating innovative exhibits that spark imagination, discovery and learning inside of the museum. This fall, the Marbles Playway will create accessible outdoor #PLAY for all kids and families in downtown Raleigh. Marbles is especially grateful to the partners, donors, board members and other community members who have championed this new outdoor space. Fresh new #PLAY has arrived at Marbles! ✨ Thanks to generous support from North Carolina State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and North Carolina Soybean Producers Association, Marbles has upgraded On the Farm with a custom-built combine and modern technology. The exhibit's newest additions invite children of all ages and abilities to experience the daily life of a North Carolina farmer through hands-on play.
