Sec School in Vengampakkam, Tamil Nadu, India, teachers have voiced deep concerns about the impact of contaminated drinking water on their students' health. The school's primary water source, a borewell, lacked any form of purification, leading to frequent illness among students. Thanks to the generous support of Columbia Sportswear and their licensee partners, Planet Water Foundation has installed an AquaTower water filtration system at the school. This initiative ensures that clean drinking water is now accessible to all students, staff, and the surrounding community, alleviating the burden of waterborne illnesses and fostering a healthier environment for all!
