This week the Engenium Group team met for a team-building event hosted by Impact 4 Good. We broke out into teams to build solar-powered and recycled parts racing cars and battled it out for 1st place. Impact 4 Good also allowed our team to gather STEAM materials to be donated to Martha's Table - an incredible organization that aims to support strong children, strong families, and strong communities. I had the pleasure of volunteering on behalf of SHEIN with Martha's Table last week. Since 1980, this fantastic organization has been providing food access and both physical and mental education programs to neighborhoods across the DMV. Residents of the DMV are able to pick up free groceries twice a month as well as participate in various activities to promote a more equitable Washington, DC. I encourage everyone in the DMV to support programs such as Martha’s Table as every individual should have access to food.

"Although you are graduating today, you are still part of the MT Family," expresses Charles Gussom, Director of Community Programs. 🥳🎉 Yesterday, there was jubilation as the latest graduates of Martha's Table's Training and Technical Assistance Program (TTAP) marked this significant milestone. Over the course of 9 months, participants received personalized, one-on-one training in key areas such as fundraising, legal structure, and program development. As each graduate walked up to receive their well-deserved rewards, Chanel Diggs, Community Development Coordinator, and former program member, movingly shared, "The work may often go unnoticed, but the real reward lies in the impact we create." It's truly humbling to stand beside these dedicated community changemakers who tirelessly uplift and influence our community every single day as our #trueandtrusted neighbors.
