Stamford Museum & Nature Center's Heckscher Farm is an active working farm and rural oasis in the city. Construction of a new Astronomy Center and Planetarium has begun. The new building will resemble an extension of the farm. A rolling roof opens the observatory to the sky. The foundations and steel superstructure were complete. Detailing miscellaneous metals and specialty elevated decks was underway. We are proud to share that Sister Thea Bowman Hall at Fairfield University recently earned a LEED-NC Gold rating. It's our eighth LEED Gold project for a total of 17 LEED certified projects!   Situated on the edge of campus between existing buildings, wetlands, parking, and an adjacent residential neighborhood, Bowman takes the shape of a bent bar to fit into the site’s limited buildable area. It creates a new, intimate front yard that opens to the existing residential quad.   Six bedrooms suites provide 160 new student beds to accommodate Fairfield's continuing growth. A base of dark brick, stone details at the entry, and aluminum details contrast the building’s base of beige brick. A dotted pattern of shimmery manganese brick shifts to dark or light depending on light conditions. 📢 Exciting project alert! 📢 Located on Newport Ave in East Providence, this 142-unit residential apartment complex developed by AR Building Company features a stunning amenity area and pool. 🌊 DiPrete Engineering, in collaboration with Rothschild Doyno Collaborative, WNA Engineering, Inc., and Michael Horton Associates, Inc., secured all necessary permits, including those from RIDOT, RIDEM, and the Narragansett Bay Commission.
