SVP Kati Card and AVP Erica Saylor were in Baltimore last week for Netroots Nation! As two of our awesome leaders whose expertise supports the political campaigns and committees we partner with, they spent the week meeting with other political strategists and attending informational sessions. We always love connecting in person with our partners and peers – exchanging information, learning about cutting edge technology and tools, and discussing our strategies that can help us win in November. Can’t wait to regather next year!

As announcements of strong Q2 fundraising numbers are beginning to pop up in news and social feeds, we’re taking a look at the significant bump in grassroots donations that hit in the final days before the FEC deadline, just in time for our political partners on the aggregate to finish out June 2024 ahead in grassroots dollars raised, in comparison to what our partners saw in June 2022, coming off the heels of the SCOTUS overturning Roe. In an unusual election year for political fundraising, how do the trends we’ve seen so far point to what we might anticipate in the next few months? Our Senior Vice President Patrick Burton has penned three key trends in grassroots fundraising in 2024 – and how to make the most of this momentum as we get closer to 100 days out from the election. Check out Patrick’s full analysis: https://hubs.li/Q02GrYDP0

Our partners at Brady: United Against Gun Violence fight every day to reduce gun violence in the United States, and we’ve worked alongside them to help them build a robust and growing sustainer program. How can prioritizing sustainer growth impact your program? And what are the keys to developing the kind of sustainer strategy that drives long-term growth? Our AVP Jack Valor and Brady United’s fundraising leadership team – Liz Dunning, Hannah Litman, and Christa Kovacs – are digging into all things sustainer strategy in our latest Q&A: https://lnkd.in/eNWihcDK

We’re so thrilled to celebrate Ambika Subramanyam, who stepped into the role of president of our integrated agency this spring! In her eight years at MissionWired, Ambika’s work and impact has spanned so many of our incredible nonprofit and political partners and has been instrumental in the growth of our cutting-edge list growth and targeting suite, The Digital Co-Op. Her leadership has been at the center of not only MissionWired’s innovation and record-breaking results but also our efforts to increase diversity and representation across our practice and thereby the causes and campaigns we serve. Ambika’s been an industry leader in understanding and prioritizing cultivation content, dating to her time leading and scaling the Gates Foundation’s Teacher2Teacher initiative, one of the biggest organic social programs in the country. She’s driven record-breaking results for nonprofits including Friends of the Earth and Everytown for Gun Safety. At the heart of her success has always been developing people and implementing systems optimized to drive the best possible results for our partners. If you’re headed to Bridge in a few weeks, Ambika is excited to connect! You can catch her at a session, our booth, or at our conference happy hour on Thursday evening to say hello. Please join us in congratulating Ambika, and don’t hesitate to reach out – she’s eager to hear what’s important to you.

Happy Pride from MissionWired! We’re excited to celebrate Pride and our LGBTQ+ community year-round, but we love the opportunity Pride Month offers to elevate and uplift the voices and histories of the LGBTQ+ community throughout June. This year, we’ve been poring over an informative and visually stunning 2024 MissionWired Pride Guide. It’s an internal resource created entirely by our colleagues, rich with history, books to read, movies to watch, and businesses to frequent, as well as when and where you can celebrate Pride, volunteer, and donate. We’re grateful to the incredible team of staff who put this together and are thrilled to share this collage of some of the stunning graphics that brought the guide to life – and we’re wishing you a Pride filled with celebration, solidarity, and advocacy, in June and every month!
